Capturing the Magic of the Whispers of Our Planet Book Launch

I am still filled with inspiration and joy from the unforgettable launch of my poetry book,Whispers of Our Planet. It was a truly captivating afternoon that celebrated the convergence of art, leadership, and our collective responsibility for the Earth. Today, I’m excited to share a special video that captures the beauty and uniqueness of the event, an evening I will always cherish.

From the breathtaking performance by

Sydney Dance Company to the heartfelt speeches and poem readings, the event was a powerful reminder of the role art plays in leading change, reconnecting us with nature, and inspiring conscious leadership.

A very special thanks goes to Rafael Bonachela and Sydney Dance Company for creating such a magical atmosphere. The dance performance was a highlight of the evening, showcasing how art can bring depth and emotion to conversations about the environment. Rafael’s speech emphasised the connection between leadership, the arts, and the planet, touching each person present.

I am also deeply grateful to Yvonne Weldon, whose inspiring Welcome to Country and reading of one of my poems was incredibly moving. Her wisdom and spirit resonated deeply with everyone, reminding us of the power of words and culture in shaping our connection to humanity and the Earth.

My heartfelt thank you to Ian Hutton, who travelled from Lord Howe Island to join us. Ian’s foreword inWhispers of Our Planet and his thought-provoking speech at the event reminded us that art can evoke a sense of wonder for nature when we feel truly connected to the world around us.

This event was a celebration of nature, leadership, and the arts. I’m excited to continue this journey and the conversation around conscious leadership and environmental stewardship. 🌿
